The Prince of Wales Plans to Join COP30 Climate Summit in Brazil

The Prince of Wales plans to participate in the United Nations climate conference in Brazil next month, according to the royal household.

Prince William and King Charles made a joint appearance on Thursday night at a reception ahead of the climate summit, which is scheduled to take place in the northern Brazilian city of Belém.

The King and Prince were in attendance at the Natural History Museum reception, marking an noteworthy combined presence at a pre-COP30 gathering organized in partnership with the UK government.

Environmental Advocacy Dedication

The King has been a long-time champion of protecting nature - and the Prince of Wales has taken on the baton, with his own environmental prize initiative, which will be taking place in South America ahead of the climate conference.

Palace insiders have characterized Prince William's attendance at the upcoming climate summit as assuming an significant responsibility in "global climate discussions".
