Real Madrid winger Vinicius Jr has expressed regret to supporters for his reaction when replaced in the recent heated match against Barcelona win.

He was replaced in the 72nd minute and showed his frustration by going straight off the pitch.

Vinicius subsequently came back to the bench and, following his club's 2-1 victory, sought to engage the opposition's youngster Yamal during unsavoury after the game incidents.

"This day I want to apologise to all the Madridistas for my response when I was replaced in the Clasico," Vinicius wrote on social media.

But his future in the Madrid is far from certain with speculation in lately indicating that Los Blancos would think about allowing the young star depart if they obtained a good proposal.

When the winger was replaced on Sunday, cameras from broadcaster the platform recorded him remarking: "Always me! I'm departing the side! It's preferable if I depart, I'm leaving."
